The school is run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Kendriya Vidyalaya Chamera-1 was established in the year 1992.The Vidyalaya is having classes I to XII with Science, Arts and Commerce streams in XI and XII. The school is privileged to have a profoundly learned, experienced and well qualified staff. The school has a huge double story building with well furnished Class rooms, well equipped Science Laboratories, Maths laboratory, Computer labs, LCD room, library and a developed play ground. Besides providing quality education, the students are provided with ample opportunities to take part in Co- Curricular activities including Sports. Students participate in various competitions right from the Class, School level to Cluster, Regional ,national and international level The school is imparting education for all-round development of the children’s personality and to inculcate in them the feeling of patriotism, National integration and the feeling of universal brotherhood and thus to make them better citizens of the country. The vidyalaya is committed to meet the challenges in Education through effective and innovative pedagogical practices.
