An academic loss compensation program in KV Chamera 1 aims to address and mitigate the learning deficits that students experience due to their significant interruptions like sports activities participation in regional activities/ events etc. These programs are designed to help students catch up academically and ensure that they are on track with their educational milestones.
- Diagnostic testing to identify gaps in students’ skills and knowledge . Such learning plans have been developed based on assessment results to cater to the needs of individual students . Some personalized learning plans have been developed to minimize the gaps.
- Teachershave also provided additional support through small group sessions or one on one tutoring .
- Remedial Classes- Remedial instructions have been offered during pre school and after school hours by focusing on core subjects like Math,Science, languages etc.
- Mental Health and Well being support have been provided by School counselors to develop among students resilience and self confidence.
- The students were continuously monitored of their progress to ensure they are makng gains and adjust interventions as needed . Regular evaluations were/ are conducted to assess the effectiveness and henceforth make necessary improvements.
- Sufficient support material / Resource material / Reading materials were oprovided to help students transition from one grade to the next ensuring they have mastered necessary skills before moving to the next level.
