    KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA CHAMERA-1, NHPC KHAIRI
    1.IOQM – 2023 (INDIAN OLYMPIAD QUALIFIER IN MATHEMATICS)
    The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) is a three-hour exam for students in classes from 8 to 12. The MTA or Mathematics Teachers’ Association (India) administers the test. MTA has been in charge of organising the PRMO (Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad) in collaboration with HBCSE 20 students of K V Chamera-1 appeared in the IOQM-2023 ( first level of the Mathematics Olympiad-2023) conducted at K V Chamera-1 and a student ‘Phalkeerat Singh Brar’ qualified for the RMO-2023 (second level of the Olympiad and INMO-2023 (third level of the Olympiad).He appeared in the INMO-2023 at Jammu in January 2024.
    ARYABHATTA GANIT CHALLENGE
    Application of mathematics in daily life needs development of certain competencies and to promote such competencies among students through joyful assessment, Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) is conducted by CBSE, the test that mainly focused on the extent to which children are able to apply mathematics to their daily life. The feedback from the performance of the test helped the Board to handhold the schools and children in application of mathematics in daily life.
    First level of Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge was conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya Chamera- I in which 38 students participated and top three students named Palak Yadav (class IX) ,Pragati Jain (class IX) and Rishabh Thakur (class X) got selected to participate in second level (online) of Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge.

    KAMP NASAT-2023
    18 students of K V Chamera-1 appeared in the NASTA-2023 exam conducted by KAMP on 7 December 2023. One of the students ‘Ayush Tiru’ was also declared the State topper for the NASTA-2023 exam and rewarded a cash prize of ₹ 2000 along with an invitation to a science excursion at the CSIR Lab – Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh by the KAMP organizer.
    NASTA is a National Assessment for Scientific Temperament & Aptitude and is conducted all over the country by KAMP in which more than 5 lac students participated from CBSE schools including Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), and Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) across all states of India.
